About the Role:
We are expanding our team and looking for a talented Senior Unity C# Programmer to contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of Phasmophobia and future projects.
As a Senior Unity C# Programmer at Kinetic Games, you will be integral to the development of Phasmophobia, implementing new features, improving existing functionalities, and ensuring the game continues to deliver heart-pounding experiences. Working closely with a skilled team of designers, artists, and fellow programmers, you will utilize Unity and C# to bring innovative gameplay elements and enhancements to life. This role demands a high level of technical expertise, creativity, and a passion for game development.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and implementation of new game features and systems.
• Optimize and refine gameplay mechanics and codebase for better performance across all supported platforms.
• Collaborate with the design and art teams to realize the game vision, ensuring technical feasibility and fidelity.
• Drive the development of tools and workflows to streamline game production processes.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain high coding standards among the development team.
• Mentor junior programmers, fostering skill development and promoting best practices.
• Stay updated on the latest Unity engine developments and integrate innovative technologies.
Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional Unity game development experience, with at least one shipped title.
• Proven track record of developing high-quality game features and systems.
• Strong foundation in object-oriented programming and software engineering principles.
• Experience with development and game optimization techniques for both low and high end PC hardware.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance analysis skills.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably PlasticSCM.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities, capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• A genuine passion for horror games and a desire to innovate within the genre.

As a Senior Artist, you will play a crucial role in the visual development of Phasmophobia, from conceptualization to implementation. You will work closely with other artists, designers, and programmers to ensure that the game's aesthetic aligns with our vision while pushing creative boundaries. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing new game elements, refining existing visuals, and enhancing overall player immersion through superior artistry.
Responsibilities:
• Create high-quality assets for our games, with a focus on environment and prop design.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure that visual assets align with gameplay mechanics.
• Mentor and guide junior artists, helping to improve their skills and ensuring consistency in the team’s output.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies, applying new techniques to improve efficiency and visual impact.
• Participate in the development process from concept to launch, ensuring that all visual elements are of the highest quality.
• Work closely with the team to ensure that artworks are optimized for performance without compromising artistic integrity.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the gaming industry, with a proven track record in a senior artistic role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality game ready 3D assets.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with other team members.
• Experience working with Unity, Substance and the Adobe suite.
• Experience creating shaders, preferably with Shader Graph.
• A genuine passion for horror games and a desire to innovate within the genre.
• Previous experience working on a shipped title, preferably in the horror genre.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

• Bachelor’s degree in 3D art, animation, visual effects, or related field

About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to join our team. As a QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our game, Phasmophobia, across various platforms. You will work closely with our development team, using your keen eye for detail to identify and report bugs, suggest improvements, and help us deliver a polished and enjoyable gaming experience to our players.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough testing of Phasmophobia on PC and upcoming console versions to identify bugs, glitches, and performance issues.
Collaborate with the development team to understand new features and content, ensuring they meet quality standards.
Use Jira, TestRail and Confluence to manage and track bug reports, test cases, and documentation.
Provide detailed and clear bug reports, including steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual results.
Verify bug fixes and ensure they do not introduce new issues.
Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress, share insights, and suggest improvements.
Assist in developing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and testing procedures.
Report testing progress and findings directly to our Lead QA.
Requirements:
Experience as a QA Tester or similar role on shipped titles
Understanding of the game development process, particularly for post-launch content creation.
Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
